'Carobics' Helps Millions of Women Drivers get in to Shape this Summer
Millions of women are getting in to shape this summer following a new trend – 'Carobics'.
Designed on behalf of Diva insurance by a leading personal fitness trainer,
the latest craze to hit the UK roads this year uses a combination of techniques including
isometric contractions and repetitions to help exercise and tone parts of the body.
But unlike any other exercise regime, it has been designed specifically to be carried out
safely while in a stationary car*.
The Nine-Step-Plan takes just 15 minutes to complete and is ideal for commuters who spend
lots of time stuck in traffic. Exercises include 'Derrière Definer', 'Stomach Shaper' and
the 'Thigh Firmer'.
Rebecca Corbett, Head of Diva Insurance, said "Due to our busy lifestyles not everyone has
time to go the gym three times a week so it's essential that we try to work our exercise
regimes into our daily routine. This simple Nine-Step-Plan has been designed to help stretch
and tone some of the major muscle groups. Normally time stuck in traffic is time wasted,
but with this plan it can be time well spent."

* 'Carobic' exercises must only be carried out in a stationary vehicle with the handbrake on and motorists must ensure that their seatbelt is securely fastened at all times.
